What a change!

The puppy (Kara) is here!  She's a Guide Dog puppy and 7 weeks old.

The puppy pen is up - exciting times ahead!

Today we have birthday presents for twins Jack and Mary waiting to be wrapped (they will be three years old on the 27th June) I have bought them each a tractor and a doctor's outfit with stethoscope.

On the windowsill we have two weissbier bottles, bought in Heidelberg from a small craft brewery ~ we will be returning the bottles when we go there by car again, all bottles are returnable in Germany.  Two hydrangea cuttings from a plant mum and dad put in for us ten years ago and some drying paintbrshes.

Pegs on the counter - I left them out in the rain yesterday so they are drying out.

Tatze is on her own for a couple of weeks, enjoying a bone in peace and quiet. She can hardly be seen in the shadow!

The leaves on the breakfast bar are hydrangea leaves I'm trying to propagate from the original bush which Mum and Dad planted for me.

Evidence today that we still have a daily pinta from the milkman, becoming rarer and rarer in the UK, sadly.

Tatze has her teddy back ~ it's put away when pups are here or it get ripped up.
